When I think about the flowers at our wedding, I have such fond memories.
Liz from Blue Sky Flowers absolutely nailed it. From my heartfelt bouquet to the spectacular hanging flowers in the Ballroom, every detail was a dream.
She managed to take the ideas that were feeling very abstract in my head and help walk me through making them into reality. We wandered around the flower market at Columbia road together, and she walked me through all the different blooms that would be in season for my wedding, so I could really conceptualise how they were going to all look together. This was such an important part of the process, as it gave me a deeper understanding of the types of flowers on offer, and Liz a much better idea about what kind of thing we loved and what didn't suit our vibe.
On the day itself, Liz worked her magic. The bouquets were absolutely gorgeous, and mine was an even more special moment for me, as it was the same bouquet my mum had at her wedding - my "something borrowed."
