When a wedding is set in a place as personal as Offley Place, where I grew up, worked, and even designed its iconic Ballroom, it takes an extraordinary team to match the level of love and detail already stitched into the venue, and I knew Goose & Berry were just the people I wanted to get on board.
I've seen them do an amazing job at more than one wedding at Offley Place, and for my wedding, Goose & Berry Catering totally rose to the occasion with creativity, finesse, and most importantly - really delicious food.
Founded in 2012 by the lovely Hannah Martin, Goose & Berry began as a homegrown kitchen startup and has flourished into one of the UK's most respected names in luxury event catering. While the scale of the business has grown a huge amount, Hannah’s original vision remains totally intact: crafting dishes that hero British ingredients, showcase seasonal produce, and make food a real highlight.
And if you know me, you know that I'm the kind of person who had to make sure every single detail of my wedding was a highlight - so Goose & Berry were perfect.
During the sunlit drinks reception in Offley’s beautiful gardens, guests were offered an elegant selection of our favourite canapés, paired with Champagne of course.
Later we moved into the Hester Ballroom, where we had even more gorgeous service from our caterers, who were perfectly on time with their courses - expertly weaving them between the speeches, dancing and music from the amazing Creation Band, who tore the house down with their incredible music.
With so much going on, I really wanted to be able to let go and just enjoy the day, and working with incredible caterers was a huge part of that. You can tell how experienced the team are, and I honestly just got to sit back and really enjoy the food, which is exactly how I wanted it!
I love to support female-led businesses, so Goose & Berry were a brilliant choice for me, and honestly, the food was just exceptional. I can't recommend them enough for a totally memorable and stunning wedding dinner.
